"This round of bargaining has been long and arduous, so we are happy to reach this stage and see this overall result,” said NAPE President Carol Furlong.
Experts agree that a universal high-quality early learning and child care program reduces poverty, boosts the birth rate, provides economic benefits and most of all benefits our children.
“Unions matter,” Clancy says. “They don't just matter to the people who belong to unions, they matter to every community in the country."
