The National Union of Public and General Employees is conducting an online member survey on working from home. Members are invited to anonymously share their experiences with, and opinions on, working from home during the pandemic, as well as what types of options they hope to see for the future. The survey can be completed in either English or French.
Ottawa (04 Feb. 2021) — Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been renewed attention on, and debate surrounding, working from home (WFH) arrangements. The National Union has conducted research into the various issues related to WFH, including health and safety.
We have also heard from Component leaders, members, and staff about how WFH is playing out across provinces and sectors.
Now we are launching an anonymous survey to gauge members’ opinions on WFH. The survey asks members to share their experiences with WFH, the challenges and benefits, and their preferences for the future.
It is hoped that the survey results will help inform NUPGE and Components to continue standing up for members’ interests, needs, and rights going forward.
Take the survey online at https://wfh.nupge.ca/. The survey can be completed in either English or French.
The survey will be open until April 16, 2021.
