Sudbury (16 March 2010) - The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) is calling on its members to join a Solidarity Rally with our fellow labour movement members of the United Steelworkers (USW) Local 6500 who have been on strike at Vale INCO since last summer.
"After eight months on the picket line, Vale INCO workers are still battling one of the most profitable corporations in the world," OPSEU says. "Fighting for their pensions and seniority rights, over 3,500 employees are on strike. Join the Bridging the Gap Solidarity Rally in Sudbury, on March 22 at 4 p.m.
