TV spot shows caring approach of NBU members

Members of the NBU/NUPGE care about their work and their fellow New Brunswickers.

Fredericton (11 Feb. 2019) — “Here in New Brunswick we have a tradition of caring for each other.”

Those are the first words spoken by Susie Proulx-Daigle, the President of the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees (NBU/NUPGE), in its latest commercial. The spot highlights the hard work and caring nature of New Brunswickers delivering public services that make them essential to everyday life in the province.

The human aspect of public services is often overlooked. When talks of privatizing aspects of the public sector are discussed, the human element is often left out.

We believe public services are well delivered despite the province’s economics and the subsequent financial cuts because of the compassion of NBU/NUPGE members and all those who work in the public sector.
