Toronto (13 May 2013) – Developmental services workers, who are members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) have launched a number of new ways to connect online.

You can connect with developmental services members through:
- a new blog containing stories from the recent “Chicken Pot Pie” story contest
- Twitter by following @dsbecausewecare and
- the Developmental Services Facebook page.
"The Rant" wins video competition award
Recently, OPSEU/NUPGE held a video competition which encouraged members to submit entries focusing on the the value of unions and how they contribute to communities.
One of the winners is Erin Rice who submitted “The Rant", a video about the need for proper funding of developmental services. Watch the video and share widely.
Members are encouraged to join in the online conversations to talk about what's happening in workplaces across the province.
