OPSEU/NUPGE welcomes its newest members
Toronto (18 Jan. 2012) - The Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) welcomes our second group of members employed by Saint Elizabeth Health Care. Employees of Saint Elizabeth’s Metro Crisis Services chose OPSEU/NUPGE in a vote held January 10, and brings another 41 members to our Community Health Care Professionals Division.
These newest members also provide immediate telephone support for mental health issues, respond through a mobile crisis team, and provide pre-crisis and follow-up support for clients.
In December 2011, the union also welcomed the workers at Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Peel Crisis Services who voted on Dec. 14, 2011 to have OPSEU/NUPGE as their bargaining representative.
The union welcomes all these new members.
