Care about the future of developmental services in Ontario? Join OPSEU/NUPGE members to help send a message that increased funding and stable working conditions are needed now.
Toronto (05 April 2018) — On April 7, developmental service workers who are members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/NUPGE) will be holding rallies to raise the awareness of the difficulties in the sector.
Same work. Same wages. It's the law.
Rallies will take place across the province to pressure community agencies and the provincial government to address the inadequate funding and precarious working conditions that put the entire system at risk.
Communities rallying across Ontario are
- Woodstock at 212 Bysham Park Dr.
- Meaford at the corner of Sykes and Nelson St.
- Kingston at 191 Portsmouth Ave.
- Thunder Bay at 179 Algoma St.
- Alliston at 125 Dufferin St. South
- London at 217 York St., Suite 203
- Campbellford at 65 Bridge St. East
For times and contact information for the rallies, you can visit the OPSEU/NUPGE website.
