Twenty new members join NSGEU/NUPGE!
Halifax (07 Aug. 2014) — Workers at Celtic Community Homes voted overwhelmingly to join the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) on August 6.
Residential support service workers choose NSGEU/NUPGE to represent them
Celtic Community Homes is a residential support services enterprise for people with disabilities, located in Antigonish. The workers oversee two residential units, as well as a number of individual support apartments.
The approximately 20 new members will form Local 54.
The NSGEU/NUPGE is excited to welcome these new members into the union.
