Bargaining committee recommends acceptance of new agreement.
Halifax (05 March 2013) – Members of the Nova Scotia Government & General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) have reached a tentative agreement with Evergreen Home for Special Care.
The agreement was reached in February after four days of negotiations. The employer was open to hearing the concerns of the membership and your Committee felt discussions were very productive.
Full details of the offer and information/voting sessions will be mailed to the membership within the next ten days.
The five-year agreement includes pay increases totalling 9.5 per cent over the life of the agreement.
The bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement and thanks the members for their support during this round of talks.
