Halifax (18 May 2012) - Members of the Nova Scotia Government & General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) employed by Northside Homemakers will be voting soon on a new collective agreement.
Members reached a tentative agreement on May 16 with the assistance of a government conciliation officer.
A meeting has been scheduled for May 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Clansman Motel in North Sydney. The bargaining committee will present highlights of the agreement and answer questions. Members will then be able to cast a ballot to accept or reject the contract.
