NSGEU says arrangements will be made with Nova Scotia agency to put the new contract into effect as quickly as possible.
Halifax (21 Dec. 2010) - Members of the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union (NSGEU/NUPGE) employed by the Regional Residential Services Society (RRSS) have ratified a new tentative agreement.
The union says arrangements will be made with the employer to have the new contract formally signed as quickly as possible. The vote in favour was 93%.
"We would like to thank all members who cast a ballot and for your support during the bargaining process," the union says in an update posted on its website.
