The New Brunswick Union has reached a fifth tentative agreement for one of its bargaining components.
Fredericton (29 July 2015) — Members of the New Brunswick Union who work in education have negotiated a new collective agreement. The bargaining team met with representatives from the provincial government over several days to reach an agreement.

The tentative agreement was reached on July 22. The NBU/NUPGE will present the deal to members, answer questions and hold a ratification vote.
"The negotiating team did a great job and put in some very long hours," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "Like all negotiations, there was give and take. We will present this deal to the members and look forward to hearing their opinions."
NBU/NUPGE members who work in Resource Services, Clerical and Regulatory, Specialized Health Care Professionals, and the Professional Services for Students in the Public School System reached tentative agreements earlier this summer and three components have ratified contracts.
