NBU/NUPGE members negotiate improvements to their collective agreement.
Fredericton (22 Sept. 2015) — Members of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) who are employed as medical science professionals have voted to ratify a tentative collective agreement with the provincial government.
New agreement reached for medical science professionals
"I want to thank everyone who voted on the contract and took the time to review the proposal," said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. "Both sides worked hard to reach this agreement."
The collective agreement comes into effect once it is officially signed. The contract is for five years and three months, beginning Jan. 1, 2014, and ending on March 31, 2019.
A total of eight groups represented by the NBU/NUPGE have either officially signed new contracts or ratified a new deal in the past few months.
