NBU launches new ad promoting the work of members

NBU/NUPGE members help make New Brunswick work whether it's in hospitals, on highways, in forests and on the waterways, or at Service New Brunswick locations and numerous other government buildings.

Frederiction (21 April 2016) — Who does the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE) represent? It's a question that's often asked, but there's no easy answer. That's what the union's new campaign hopes change by highlighting the people and the important work they do across the province.

NBU/NUPGE members are key to New Brunswick's success

The NBU/NUPGE represents thousands of people in both the public and private sectors.

The members help make New Brunswick work whether it's in hospitals, on highways, in forests and waterways, or at Service New Brunswick locations and numerous other government buildings.

NBU/NUPGE members work hard every day to help deliver essential services to their fellow New Brunswickers.

The latest ad highlights three members who work in the health care system.

The ad was filmed at the Saint John Regional Hospital and features cardiac ultrasound technologist Erica Fillmore, occupational therapist Leah Warren and audiologist Alexander Colquhoun.

These three members -— just like the thousands more the NBU/NUPGE represents — are vital to the province.

So when asked who does the NBU represent? You can say, hard working people dedicated to helping their fellow New Brunswickers.
