St. John's (01 May 2013) – The negotiating team representing workers with Labatt Brewery Company (Labatt), who are members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE), returned to the bargaining table with their employer.
Both parties have been working with a conciliator to return to the table since talks originally broke off in March.
“Our negotiating team is committed to reaching a fair deal at the table,” said NAPE President Carol Furlong.
One hundred per cent of workers with Labatt voted to strike and have been off the job since April 10 of this year.
