NAPE/NUPGE members demonstrate against cuts at Eastern Health.
St. John's (05 June 2012) - Approximately 100 members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE/NUPGE) employed by Eastern Health held a demonstration at St. Clare’s Hospital on May 31 to protest against recently announced cuts stemming from the health authority's “Operational Improvements” plan.

NAPE/NUPGE represents over 25,000 public and private sector workers across Newfoundland and Labrador, including over 5500 workers at Eastern Health.
