'A great opportunity for female members who have shown some interest in their union but haven’t quite known how to get more involved.'
Winnipeg (20 Jan. 2011) - The Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) will hold its biennial women's conference May 5-6 at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg.
"For years, this conference has given the women of the MGEU a chance to learn more about their union and each other and explore opportunities to get involved in improving their work lives, their union and their communities," MGEU says.
"This conference is a great opportunity for female members who have shown some interest in their union but haven’t quite known how to get more involved."
