5-year agreement improves wages and benefits.
Winnipeg (27 June 2017) — Members of the Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE) who work at Falcon Lake Golf Course ratified a new agreement with a new employer on June 23.
It was a prolonged round of negotiations, with the Bargaining Committee first waiting for a provincial funding mandate, followed by a transfer of operations from Venture Manitoba Tours Ltd. to Lakeland Golf Management.
The 5-year agreement with the new employer includes wage increases and improvements to benefits and equipment allowances.
