Three hundred and fifty ANCR workers will see a number of significant improvements in the new four-year deal.
Winnipeg (17 Jan. 2012) - Members of the Manitoba Government and General Employees Union (MGEU/NUPGE) employed by the All Nations Coordinated Response Network (ANCR) ratified the first contract.
The union represents roughly 350 ANCR members who will see a number of significant improvements in the new four-year deal. It includes increases to vision care, the drug plan and the health spending account as well as increases to shift premiums, weekend premiums, mileage rates and cell phone reimbursement.
The contract will provide members with four additional days of leave per year for the purposes of attending cultural, ceremonial and religious celebrations and will now be allowed to use sick leave to attend medical appointments.
The bargaining committee will be contacting the employer to finalize and sign the agreement before it’s printed and distributed to members.
