Sign this letter to help protect decent jobs and quality public services in New Brunswick.
Fredericton (12 June 2013) – The New Brunswick provincial government is going through a ‘workforce adjustment’ exercise and has made some important cuts to various sectors like health care services, highway supervisors, laboratory and medical, paramedical employees and specialized health care professionals.
Workforce adjustment has cut front-line workers
These cuts have a direct effect on members of the New Brunswick Union (NBU/NUPGE), the services they offer and our communities.
Public services throughout the province are under attack and we need to voice our opposition to these cuts. Even if you have not been affected directly by these layoffs, the NBU/NUPGE is asking concerned residents to mobilize and support those who are losing their jobs.
Letter writing campaign to the Premier
NBU/NUPGE have started a letter writing campaign dedicated to Premier Alward to voice your opposition to these layoffs. All you have to do is click on this link, print the letter, add your name and signature and send it.
Mobilization is the key, the more letters sent in, the stronger the message will be!
