HSABC offers scholarships and bursaries

Post secondary assistance is available for members of the Health Sciences Association of B.C. and their families.

Vancouver (10 Dec. 2015) — The Health Sciences Association of B.C. (HSABC/NUPGE) is offering scholarships and bursaries to all members and their children. Ten scholarships will be awarded for full-time studies, twenty bursaries for full-time studies and four bursaries for part-time studies. Two Aboriginal bursaries will be awarded to Aboriginal students in B.C.

Deadline for applications is February 29, 2016

Completed application forms and transcripts must be emailed to the HSABC/NUPGE office no later than February 29, 2016.

Please note: Email is the preferred method for submitting your application form and transcript; however, if this is not an option for you, they must be postmarked no later than Monday, February 29, 2016. Successful applicants will be notified by letter before the end of May 2016.

In addition, the Madden Memorial Fund is open to members to fund approved labour educational courses in labour relations, occupational health and safety, human rights and leadership skills throughout the year. Professional development courses are not eligible for Madden Memorial funding. The Madden Memorial Fund application form is also available on the HSABC website.
