'Both sides are to be congratulated for their commitment to get a deal done this time.'
Edmonton (7 June 2010) - Members of the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA/NUPGE) employed by Rexall’s Pharma Plus Pharmacies have overwhelmingly ratified a three-year agreement.
The agreement, which expires March 31, 2013, will mean wage gains and improvements in professional development contract provisions for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants.
“Both sides are to be congratulated for their commitment to get a deal done this time,” says HSAA spokesman Scott Pattison. “These health care professionals undertake a highly specialized type of pharmacy work, dispensing drugs to organ transplant and HIV/AIDS patients. Their contributions to our health-care system are invaluable."
