Wage increases plus improved benefits negotiated for MGEU/NUPGE members at Impark.
Winnipeg (26 Sept. 2012) - Members of the Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union (MGEU/NUPGE), in Local 199 who work for Impark as lot attendants, has ratified a new three-year collective agreement, effective May 1, 2012 – April 30, 2015.
The new agreement includes a three per cent increase on May 1 in all years of the contract as well as a midnight shift premium of $0.50 per hour.
Other contract improvements include a trainer premium, a shoe allowance and vehicle mileage for doing company business.
The MGEU/NUPGE will now be working with the employer to finalize the agreement in order to get the contract signed, printed and into members' hands as soon as possible.
